According to figures pulled by the fine folks at About.com, Cato Fashions enjoyed a 24% increase in same store sales for March 2010–the highest number recorded for the month, and beating out retail giants like Kohl’s, Nordstrom, Old Navy, and Aeropostale. Could we attribute this growth to some smart creative messaging, combined with bloody efficient targeting in the company’s most profitable markets? Perhaps. Perhaps.
